First impressions count for a lot in the business & commercial world of today, whether this is by the spoken/written word, the appearance or in the confidence of an employee. The same applies to the visualisation of the brand, it's not just about the logo and the 'strategy' behind it, it’s the whole communication experience combined with correct and consistent application across all touch points.
As a specialist in this field, my approach has always been to look at this end result, how an identity would be applied, how it is communicated internally & externally, and also lives after my work has been completed. Usually this takes the form of a comprehensive style guideline that is easily understood by the client, covers applied applications and supplies sufficient creative information and flexibility for a designer to apply the brand.
