During 2009, the Qatari government allowed Vodafone to compete with Qtel for supplying public telecom services. To combat this competition and improve their service offering, Qtel went through an extensive internal & external image/culture change that was partly carried out by Siegel+Gale.
For a period of 18 months, Siegel+Gale placed a project management team of three people within Qtel to help the implement and apply the refreshed brand and strategy.
My role as Creative Director within this team was to implement Qtel’s refreshed look, immerse the staff into the new company strategy & identity, and audit all internal & external marketing activities.
